Location

French courses take place at in Montpellier (opposite the train station).

Audit of language competence using the CEFRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) guidelineswith a view to :

  • Evaluating students’ specific needs and requests
  • Offering tailor-made courses

Mid-course evaluation questionnaire in order to gain full benefit from the French course.

Teaching methods

Written comprehension : Study of the main ideas and reformulation of arguments in abstract texts

Written expression : Memo, letter and essay writing, reinforcement of grammatical structures, organizational patterns and logical connectors

Oral comprehension : Phonetics, recognition of various regional and cultural differences of spoken French

Oral expression : Presentations, surveys, role play, case studies, debates allowing interaction with native speakers

Teaching materials used by teachers in the classroom include: audio and video material, interactive multimedia, telephone conversations.

French language assessment

  • Follow up and mid-course evaluation in order to measure progress and acquired language skills
  • Final certificate of French language proficiency achieved
